Cookie policy
How Chase Accounting Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.
Last updated: 15 July 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, store information in your browser. Together they help websites function, remember your preferences, and understand how they are used.
2. How we use them
This website does not set any cookies. We use no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts run on our pages.
Functional / preferences
We use two items of local storage to remember choices you make — your accessibility settings, and any progress you make in our pricing calculator — so your experience is consistent. Each is created only once you actively change a setting or start answering, and removed again when you reset it.
Analytics and marketing
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. If we introduce any in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy to describe them.
Third-party features
Some links take you to a third party's own website — for example, our consultation booking page and our secure payment link. Those providers may set cookies on their own pages, governed by their own cookie and privacy policies. Nothing is embedded in, or loaded by, this website.
3. Managing your choices
Because we set no cookies and store nothing until you act, there is no consent banner to manage. You can clear the two functional items at any time by resetting your accessibility preferences, or by selecting “Start over” in the pricing calculator.
You can also control cookies and local storage through your browser settings, including deleting or blocking them. Doing so may affect how parts of the website work.
4. What we store
We keep our use of cookies and similar technologies to a minimum. The current items are:
- chase-a11y (local storage, functional) — remembers the accessibility preferences you turn on, such as larger text or increased spacing. It is only created once you change a setting, and removed if you reset your preferences.
- chase-quote-v1 (local storage, functional) — saves your progress in our pricing calculator so it is not lost if you navigate away. It is only created once you start answering, and removed when you start over.
Both items are first-party and stay on your device — they are never sent to us or shared with anyone. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
5. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time. For any question about our use of cookies, contact us at support@chaseaccounting.co.uk. See also our privacy notice.
