2. No contract by email

Nothing in an email from us constitutes an offer capable of acceptance, or forms a binding contract, unless it expressly says so and is confirmed in an engagement letter signed by both parties. Fee estimates, quotations, and indicative figures — including any produced by the estimate tool on this website — are not offers and are subject to confirmation.

3. Advice and reliance

Any advice contained in an email is given only to the addressee, only for the purpose stated, and only on the basis of the information available to us at the time. It should not be relied upon by any other person, or for any other purpose, without our prior written consent.

Tax and accounting treatment depends on individual circumstances and on legislation and HMRC practice, which may change. We accept no responsibility to update advice after it has been given.

4. Security, viruses, and transmission

Email is not a secure medium. Messages can be intercepted, corrupted, delayed, lost, or arrive incomplete, and they may contain viruses. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that any message or attachment is free from malicious code, and we accept no liability for any damage caused by transmission or by any virus.

Recipients should carry out their own virus checks before opening any attachment. If you would prefer to exchange sensitive information by another route, contact us on T +44 (0) 747 1067 162 to agree one.

5. Monitoring

We may monitor and record electronic communications sent to and from our systems for legitimate business purposes, including security, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance, in accordance with applicable law and our privacy notice.

6. Views expressed
